The Silver Occupation

At the cessation of hostilities towards the end of the Silver War, the Royalist troops seized the Ducal seats of all three Trium Dukes, including the city associated with Duke Eastmarch's home grounds, called Jasquon after him. During this time, bearing weapons on the street in any of these fiefs was considered a crime punishable by summary execution on the spot. Many political prisoners were taken and many were executed. The "Nights of Blood and Ash" are famously represented in Corenthi theater.
The Occupation was only lifted after Corenth was proclaimed a Principality, although the Royal Army of Lunargen did not leave Jasquon itself for several years after.
