A fief in the Borderwoods incorporating the Bracken Lands, a heavily forested area of the north. It is one of the six counties of Northmarch that is usually thought of as the primary protection of the northern border.

The current Countess Stormward is Aladriel Stormward.

Contained in County Stormward is Barony Grayfile, a hilly region where the Forgelight Chapel is located.
